My name is Angela Grieve and you all can call me Angie. Below is my biography.
Academic:
I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science Degree in Project Management at Boston University. This is my 4th online course so far and I find them very challenging without the face to face classroom interaction and learning style. I learn better with classroom lecture and style so I find it difficult to cater my style towards this type of learning environment, but since BU is one of the few that offer the program in this area…I’m stuck!
I currently hold a MBA and Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Business Management from the University of Hartford and an Associates Degree from Manchester Community College.
Professional:
I was born and raised in Syracuse NY and began my career in the credit and collections industry in North Carolina. I then transferred to Glastonbury, CT in the credit and collections field to IKON Office Solutions where I worked for over 7 years as a credit specialist, trainer, Supervisor and then as a Black Belt Candidate.
In 2005, I took a different path and went into the Aerospace Industry where I do various projects and my Black Belt skills play a major role along with project management. My company does a lot of outsourcing so I manage six Statements Of Work and work in a virtual environment daily with various cultures.
Personal:
I am married with a 2 year old and enjoy watching sports (football, baseball etc.) but would rather play golf than watch it on TV. I love to travel and spend time with my husband and extended family.
